Manuels Tavern
Best Democratic bar you could ever go to-just don't tell anyone if you are a republican-well, maybe you already know this. Anyway, Manuels is Atlanta's best original bar-opened in 1956 and still going strong with a great smell and aura. Not the wildest party in the ATL but a great place to kick back relax and drink with some friends without the BS of ever other place. No lines, no waiting- just drinking.
The also serve food until late.

Moe's and Joe's
Celebrating 60 years, Moe's and Joe's is the O.G. Next to Manuel's Tavern and Fado's, Moe's and Joe's completes the trio of original Atlanta Bars, but they have one thing up on the competition-$3.25 pitchers of PBR. Serving free popcorn make sure wear your pop up collars and plaid shorts before hitting on the Emory girls in the midst of earning their MRS degrees.

Clermont Lounge
The absolute definition of Atlanta now that Backstreet is closed..the place that needs to be on the agenda if you are bold and want to be able to say, 'I have been to Atlanta'-only the strong survive...but you will have the experience of a lifetime. Located behind the infamous Clermont Hotel on Ponce De Leon, in the basement, around the park, next to the dumpster is the hidden door of the best kept secret in Atlanta-enter at your own risk. Monday thru Friday it is a novelty strip club. Saturday night it is the only Funk club in town spun by the local legends, Romeo and Quasi-the funk masters...on Saturday night you better come ready to dance...and sweat-small cover Saturday's $7-$10.

Limerick Junction
The junction boasts it is Atlanta's oldest Irish Pub. While this is a moot point, we can verify the seem to know how to prepare a Guiness like the motherland. The small cover is worth it, as they have decent music from various bands. A perfect place to have happy hour with friends in the heart of the highlands. See Gwen the sweetheart bartender and tell her Inhabit Atlanta sent you.
