Restaurants in Decatur

El Tesoro

Featured Restaurant. Best new location and food in Decatur...grab a bunch of friends, a pitcher of margaritas and chill out on the patio or in the front yard. Great spot for a date or just grabbing a drink. The menu is very reasonable and great for tacos or entrees. The best story is the sign-check it out and let me know where you think the letters came from-think Buckhead department store.

Watershed

Great restaurant on the main drag in Decatur-perfect for a first date...start at the bar with a bottle and then have them move it over to a table for you. After dinner walk up the street and if you are up to it, head into Brick Store Pub for another drink. Entrees $9-13. Very reasonably priced menu for the ambiance.

Ducks Cosmic Kitchen

I love it...This restaurant you just have to experience to really get the full essence of it, a review just doesn't do it justice. It is quiet and quaint but packed with punch where it needs to be, in the food. Very reasonable for the selections and the experience. The chicken salad sandwich is out of this world, the dressing on the house salad is to die for and they have fantastic homemade baked goods. Small outdoor seating but have recently renovated to accomodate inside seating.

Depeaux

Depeaux is now advertising heavily that they have worked out any bugs-atleast this is my hope, and with the advertising hopefully that has brought out the crowd. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. Depeaux(the Louisiana twist for Depot) located in the Historic Decatur train station, has been opened now about two months. Dinner is not necessarily cheap since most of the menu is seafood:
Apps $5-$10
Entrees: $15.95 - $21.95
Baskets and Poboys: $10.95 - $20.95
